Primary Teacher Courses

I run Teacher Training Courses throughout the year for Primary English Language teachers in the beautiful villages of Shipton-Under-Wychwood and Burford in the heart of the Cotswolds, one of the most beautiful areas of countryside in England.

Enjoy the conference facilities of The Bay Tree in Burford, a wonderful hotel dating from the 16th century, or at The Shaven Crown in Shipton-Under-Wychwood, a historic hotel dating from 1483.

Have seminars on methodology and classroom language, receive teaching materials you can use with your classes, create your own teaching materials with support and guidance, spend one day visiting a school and observing classes, and explore the beauty of the Cotswolds.

Visit beautiful villages, ancient houses, historic castles, and admire wonderful views. Visit nearby Oxford (20 minutes), Cheltenham (20 minutes), and Stratford-Upon-Avon (45 minutes).  Trains to London are just 76 minutes.

Bed and Breakfast accommodation in the village is around £50 per night, or you can choose to stay in a local hotel:
Accommodation in and around Shipton-Under-Wychwood

Alternatively, the course can run in Stratford-Upon-Avon, the historic and beautiful town of William Shakespeare.  The venue is The Shakespeare Hotel in the heart of the centre next to the school that Shakespeare attended.  Accommodation is £70 per night.  It is an ideal location for visiting the 5 houses connected to Shakespeare, exploring the beauty of the Warwickshire countryside, and seeing world-class performances of plays by Shakespeare and his contemporaries at The Royal Shakespeare Theatre.
